PLANTSITTER® granules work like a sponge, absorbing water and nutrients and releasing them to the plant roots during dry periods. You save up to 60% water and a lot of watering effort. Dry periods of up to 4 weeks can be bridged with PLANTSITTER® granules.
It retains its storage capacity for up to 5 years, making it possible to bridge several dry periods. You can reliably protect your plants from drought stress and waterlogging for a long time.

Application in forestry

Option 1: Mixing the granules with water
Mix 5% PLANTSITTER® granules with 95% water. Dip the plant roots into the mixture so that they are well moistened. Place the plant with the treated roots in the prepared soil. The roots can absorb the stored water directly from the first day. This option is preferred when planting new plants, as it uses the least amount of granules and the granules are already available directly at the plant root.

Option 2: Direct application in the planting hole
Dig a planting hole of the desired size for your plant. Pour a sufficient amount of PLANTSITTER® granules into the planting hole and place the plant root directly on the granules and then seal with soil.

Option 3: Mix the granules with water and pour into the planting hole
Mix 5% PLANTSITTER® granules with 95% water. Pour the mixture into the prepared planting hole. The amount required may vary depending on the type of plant. Place the plant in the planting hole with the mixture and then seal with soil.

Application in agriculture

Here too, all three options are possible from above + application during soil inversion.
In addition, there is the issue of fertilisation in agriculture.

Here is our recommendation:
Spread the PLANTSITTER® granules evenly over the soil surface and work them into the soil by turning it over. Fertilise in conjunction with planting with 30% of the seasonal fertiliser requirement. Due to the storage capacity of the granules and the longer watering intervals, the fertiliser is no longer washed out so quickly and is available to the plants for longer.
